ABOUT US

We want to see God move in Orange County

Together, we are a community of Jesus followers committed to loving one another and God as we invite others to join us.

Jesus teaches us the wonderful news that God and His Church is available to all who choose to turn from their own way to learn from Him.  No exceptions, no holdbacks, this good news of Jesus is available to all who believe.

Jesus also teaches us that this good news is not something that we are to keep to ourselves. It must be shared.  And so, we as a community, aim to be a Church without walls, who strives to make students of Jesus not only among Armenians, but at work, at home, at coffee shops and even on the streets.

We highly value our relationships with one another. We look to grow through fellowship, and to enjoy God in all we do. We value the word of God, and the leadership of Christ through His Holy Spirit. We look to extend grace to all the lost and broken, and lead those with no hope to the hope of Jesus Christ.

We hope you will come join us.

WHO WE ARE

OUR PURPOSE

We exist to love and follow Jesus, and invite others to join us.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

The Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God, an inerrant blueprint for our faith, life, and future.

There is one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and loving, and eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Jesus Christ is the sinless Son of God, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, He died on the cross to pay the penalty of our sin, arose bodily from the grave, and will someday return to earth in power and glory.

Mankind was created in the image of God, but became alienated from God through sin.

All mankind remain separated from God until they put their trust in Jesus and choose to follow Him as their Master.

Those who follow Jesus and trust him as savior will enjoy God now and eternally, while those who persistently reject Christ’s free gift of salvation will remain separated from God in eternal torment.

Water baptism is a public declaration of one’s faith in Jesus Christ; the Lord’s Supper (Communion) helps us to remember his sacrifice on our behalf until he comes again.

OUR HISTORY

BEGINNINGS

Armenian Christian Fellowship of Orange County (ACFOC) began in the hearts of a few dedicated Armenian Christians in 1987. They had a burden to reach Orange County Armenians and their friends with the love and gospel of Jesus Christ.  Meeting weekly for Friday night Bible study and fellowship, they began their first Sunday Service on

Easter 1991.

Today we are a vibrant, Christ-centered, Bible-teaching church where we effectively edify and equip our congregation for ministry. Our Board of Elders, together with our Pastoral staff lead ACFOC as we serve our community in the areas of: Sunday Services, Sunday School and Children’s Ministries, Men’s and Women’s Ministries, Youth Ministries, Couple’s Ministries, Midweek Bible Studies, Outreach, Missions, Events and more.

Armenian Christian Fellowship of Orange County is also part of the Armenian Evangelical Union of North America.
